 On Saturday and Sunday, January 5th & 6th,
area troops, as well as those from
around the region, left for a training stop
at Fort Shelby, near Hattiesburg, Mississippi,
before their trip to Iraq.

The scene above in Clarksville was similar
to other departures throughout the state,
as approximately 3,200 soldiers
deployed this weekend.
